CME Tactile belongs to the CME (Composite Materials Engineering ) family. We have been leaders in advanced composites technology and manufacturing for over 50 years. CME is Australian Owned & Operated, and proudly manufactures Tactiles TGSI in Melbourne. We are Australia’s largest advanced composites business and a global exporter.

Our three facilities in Bayswater are home to our HQ, manufacturing and logistics. Our facilities include:

CME began supplying moulded, advanced composite parts to the Australian automotive industry in the 1970’s. Cementing our position as a Tier 1 supplier of advanced composites and new, lightweight technologies to the global automotive market.Our award-winning composites and our Sheet Moulding Compound technologies led to CME’s expansion in the early 2000’s into industries looking for substitutes to traditional materials such as steel, aluminum, concrete and timber.
